Z01 provides an already established and fully equipped morphomolecular comparative experimental pathology platform aiming at cutting-edge animal phenotyping supplemented by a comparative human tissue cohort outreach for the assessment of the complex roles of aberrant intrinsic and extrinsic immune cell signaling in cancer. Thus, this central project will support all subprojects in the implementation of translational tissue-based morphomolecular analyses of (pre-)neoplastic cells and immune cells into their research programs, which will greatly facilitate the valid interpretation of genotype-phenotype correlations.
